Nick Adams
Managing Director of Advantage NRG
Advantage NRG is a family, and Nick is our Father! As Managing Director, he is responsible for the strategic development of the company, it's robustness as a business and it's standing within our industry. All of those daily requirements are hugely important to the success of the business, but the responsibility he holds at the forefront of everything is that of the well being and individual professional development of each and every member of the NRG clan. Peter Dolan
General Manager
Peter is the General Manager for Advantage NRG, he first started as a linesman in 2012 with four other men and has progressed through the company to his present position. He currently works closely with the clientele, monitors deployment to project and supervises the progression and recruitment of the office team. Peter most enjoys the Family Feel that Advantage has with its office and site staff.
Marcus White
Commercial Manager
Marcus is the Commercial Manager for Advantage NRG, he has been with us since 2017, and in that time he has risen through the ranks from Operations Manager to Commercial Manager. He is an expert at building strong relationships with Clients and always goes the extra mile to ensure their satisfaction.
Amber Coombes
Compliance Process Manager
Amber is our Process Compliance Manager who has worked for Advantage NRG for over 6 years.
She is responsible for keeping track of KPI records to ensure that NRG are meeting their strategic objectives against their performance. She works in a close proximity to the Payroll department and assists them with payslips and timesheets. She is one of the main points of contact for visa applications, including new applications, extensions and through to ILR if that is the individual's wish.
Amber most enjoys being involved in sourcing and recruiting members of staff from overseas and in the UK, then supporting them throughout their employment.
Claire Griffiths
Assistant General Manager
Claire is the Assistant General Manager. She works closely with Peter to oversee operations and the day-to-day activities. With over 15 years of experience, and 10 years in management; Claire has a strong understanding of the industries trends, challenges and opportunities.
Claire takes pride in the rapport that she has built with the employees at site and maintaining a bond with them, she deals with any queries that they may have
Lee Heslop
Operations Manager
Lee started his career with Advantage as a Site Supervisor and has since, worked his way up to the position of Operations Manager. Lee manages all Projects in the UK, including monitoring their progress, resources and ensuring gangs work effectively and efficiently.
Lees' extensive experience in the industry has equipped him with the skilla and knowledge which is necessary to excel and provide our Clients with the best Teams.
Steve Smith
SHEQS Manager
Steve is the SHEQ Manager, who has worked for Advantage NRG for almost 4 years. He looks after all aspects of Health and Safety throughout the company and deals with safety issues proactively, implementing strategies for improvement.
His most memorable project so far has been Fort William in 2018; as he got to witness all the Linesmen that he had trained when they first arrived in the UK from the Philippines, he took great pride in seeing how far they had come and how much their skills had developed.
Natalie Savage
Safety Officer
- Natalie is our Safety Officer, she is responsible for promoting a high standard of Health and Safety across our Projects and ensures that all members on site are given the appropriate safety information on any hazards that are associated with the current scope of work.
- She also ensures that all operatives have the necessary training and authorisations for the work they carry out. Her favourite thing about working for Advantage NRG is going out to site and visiting our employees.
Carly Cunninghame
Office Manager
- Carly has recently been promoted to the Office Manager for Advantage NRG. She is responsible for overseeing operations, ensuring her Team have a strong dynamic and providing support to various departments. Carly takes pride in her ability to ensure that projects are completed with the utmost efficiency and effectiveness.
- Carlys' favourite thing about working for Advantage is the 'family feel' atmosphere and enjoys welcoming new starters from the UK and overseas.
Alice Patterson
Office Administrator
- Alice started last year as our Office Junior and has progressed to Office Administrator. Alice works closely with the administration team to ensure the smooth running of the Office. Alice’s job includes processing tools, PPE requests, organising stock, booking accommodation and assisting with general administration tasks. Alice enjoys meeting our new starters that join the Company from overseas and making them feel welcome. Her favourite part of working for Advantage NRG is all employees make each other feel welcome and part of the team.
Helen Tune
Human Resource Coordinator

Helen leads the day-to-day HR tasks and supports the entire employee life cycle; ranging from providing offer letters and contracts to exit interviews and processing leavers. Helen enjoys using her skills and experience to solve problems and has said that the best part of her job is sending offers of employment and receiving notice that the applicant is going to join our strong team.
Although Helen has recently joined us, she enjoys being a valued member of the Preston Office team; she immediately felt comfortable and looks forward to her future with us
Rolly Magtoto
Technical Support

- Rolly Magtoto is one of our original employees from the start, he has been working with us for over 10 years as a Linesman/Chargehand. He has recently been promoted to Technical Support and is responsible for overseeing operations at site.
- Rolly enjoys working as a mentor and teaching new employees the standards that are expected on the OHL transmission systems in the UK. His favourite thing about working for Advantage NRG is the good support system amongst Management and Supervisors.
Lee Hussain
Site Supervisor
- Lee Hussain is one of our site supervisors, he oversees our projects across the UK and acts as a first point of contact on site for our employees.
- He regularly undertakes site audits and ensures that all operations are safely conducted
Mark Contayoso
Site Supervisor
- Mark Contayoso has been working with Advantage NRG for almost 10 years; he started his journey as a Linesman Erector and has recently been promoted to Site Supervisor.
- Mark is responsible for being a first point of contact on Site and deals with all site queries. He also conducts regular site competency audits and harness inspections to ensure that all employees on site have the necessary skills and knowledge of the tasks that they are carrying out. Mark has a great working relationship with all of our employees and excellent communication with Management and the Office.
Lola
Office Dog
Lola is our office dog who provides comfort and cuddles! She currently works part-time on Mondays and Fridays; on the other days of the week she provides support and therapy to children at a local school in Skelmersdale.
